These two women came from the truth I learned slowly – that even if you move through cities, schools, and entire chapters without nostalgia, you can still collect the people who feel like home. I was never sentimental about places or things, but somehow I kept the right humans – the loud ones, the late ones, the cutoffs-at-dinner ones, the trauma-joke-in-a-takeout-bag ones.

To strangers, they might seem blunt or chaotic. To me, they’re the reason I exhale. This doodle is for the friendships that survive time, moves, reinventions, and entire personality upgrades. The people you hold onto – even while letting everything else go.
