From my sketchbook to your sleeve:
Every Valentine’s Day, my dad brought home roses and chocolate. Sometimes a bouquet. Sometimes just one stem, wrapped in crinkled paper. My sister and I always got a rose too – no speeches, no production. Just a quiet certainty that love should be marked.
